Kayley tests us every chance she gets.  Bedtime is no exception.  She usually gets out of bed 2 or 3 times after we put her to bed.  It used to be that she would get up and get some toys and get back in her bed or she would go out into the hallway and make some noise to let us know she is up and then we would go up and tell her to get back in bed.  The other night when we heard her moving around upstairs, Andy went up there to find her painting her fingernails in her room.  He calmly helped her wash it off and put her back to bed and told her to stay in bed.  She said she would.  We knew better.  He waited a few minutes and went back up.  Apparently, she needed to go potty this time and had a little bit of trouble getting her PJs back on:
